Kids squeal in delight when they stumble across our spheniscidae (that’s penguins to you and me!)
Watch these lively residents speed through the water from behind an underwater glass screen. Pass our otter enclosure, and you’ll find our outdoor viewing platform, where you’ll be able to watch our penguins relaxing and feeding on the rocks when they’re not enjoying a swim.
We run regular talks and feeds at our penguin enclosure. Come along to learn more about these beautiful animals and what it takes to look after them throughout the year.
Enjoy a Penguin Experience
Sealife Adventure offers you the chance to get up close and personal with our Humboldt Penguins! Your experience will start at our customer services desk. From here, you will be introduced to one of our experienced keepers who will escort you to our Penguin enclosure for your health and safety briefing. Throughout your experience, the keeper will tell you about the behaviour, feeding, habits and habitat of our Penguins.
Price: £120 for 2 people, £60 for an additional person.
Price with an Annual Pass: £60 for 2 people with an Annual Pass, £30 or an additional person.
- The experience will be held at 11:30am. Please arrive no later than 11.15am. You can arrive earlier to enjoy the aquarium before meeting the penguins.
- Children under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
- Closed toe shoes (trainers, boors, wellies) must be worn.
- No exposed skin below the waist. (No shorts or skirts, needs to be covered down to the shoes).
- All guests receive a Penguin experience certificate.
- Minimum guest age 8 years old.
- Minimum of 2 guests per booking.
Please note that the penguin enclosure is not wheelchair accessible, and participants must be able to stand. For safety reasons, it is not advisable to be seated at the height of the penguins.
We want you to make the most out of this very unique experience and so take as many pictures as you’d like!
