About us

WE’RE ECO WARRIORS AT HEART

Here at Sealife Adventure, we care greatly about the planet that we all co-exist on. To do our bit to protect it, we hold regular beach cleans here in Southend on Sea, in association with the MCS Great British Beach Clean. In one recent clean, over 7,000 people took part throughout the county and removed 255,209 pieces of litter from 339 beaches!

Our mission statement

SEALIFE ADVENTURE AIMS TO be the UK’s Premier zooquarium, and south east’s leader in animal welfare, conservation and education.

How do we do this?

To make the guests the happiest they have ever been through fascination and edutainment, in the safest possible environment.

HELPING WILD AND WATER SPECIES

Sealife Adventure participated in the “No Limits?” Shark Conservation events in 2016 and 2017, to raise awareness of the increasing endangerment of sharks. The “No Limits?” campaign was launched in 2014 to respond to the crisis posed by unlimited and escalating shark fishing.

HOW TO SUPPORT US

Whilst we do a lot for the conservation of marine and land life, including regular clean-ups of Southend’s Beaches with support from the local community, we know we can’t win the battle alone. During your visit, be sure to check out some of our talks, such as our Shark Talk, where we will teach you all about the endangered animals that we home, as well as what you can do to protect them.
